Au Pairs do receive 3 weeks paid holiday per year.

The au pair holiday to be taken at a time agreed in advance, which is convenient to the host family and the au pair.

Should the family take a holiday and not require the services of the au pair during the holiday period au pairs pocket money must be paid in full.

Au Pairs cannot be expected to go home at her or his own expense also without pay or to take unpaid holiday while the family is away.

If the aupair is left alone in the family home while the family is away, additional money should be paid for the purchase of food and other essentials.
